Legal counsel Dominik Bala took up the subject of the application of the Act of 24 July 2015 – the law on assemblies in the context of damages caused during this year’s Independence March. Dominik Bala pointed out that there is no provision in the current law on assemblies that could constitute the basis for the compensation liability of the organizer of an assembly, whether it be independent or jointly and severally liable with the perpetrator. Legal counsel Dominik Bala also referred to the possibility of injured parties seeking to redress the damage in civil or criminal proceedings.
